The USSA is planning the “5th Annual Newport Captains Briefing & Reception” on Monday, June 21, 2010. The speakers will be informative and knowledgeable. Our goal is to educate and inform.
The audience is the captains and senior officers of all the large vessels that are in the region, even those not in the charter show.

We are also inviting regional superyacht businesses and leaders. We want to strengthen our regional alliances and engage new members.
The Captains Briefing will be in the main tent at the Newport Spring Charter Show in the Newport Yachting Center at 5:00 – 7:30 on Monday. There will be a mini-trade show opportunity throughout the week of the Spring Charter Show (June 22-25, 2010).
The Reception follows immediately from about 6-7:30. We are planning a Welcome (Specialty) Drink Station and Raffle Prizes!
The Newport Spring Charter Show hosts their crew party, 5:30-7:00, in the same tent, on the same evening. More energy, more networking, more exposure!

Use June 21 as a planning date. Use Newport as a focal point, a home base during your trip to the Northeast!
Work the region, returning in the evenings for the networking and the Newport nightlife. Most of the charter-show events are in the evening: the Captains Briefing on Monday, the Welcome Dinner on Tuesday, yacht-hops on Wednesday and Thursday – you know the drill. During the day, visit customers, shipyards, vessels, distributers!
Your table space ($450 or $700) and USSA pop-up banner in the main tent at the Spring Charter Show give you exposure, even when you’re not there.
USSA members are invited to the Spring Charter Show events and vessels.
USSA Events are member-supported and your support is important.
