With more than 1450 members and growing, the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) is the world's largest trade association for the yacht brokerage and charter industry. Established in 1987 and formerly known as The Florida Yacht Brokers Association, IYBA is dedicated to professionalism and ethics in all aspects of Yacht transactions. IYBA members enjoy the support of the association in promoting solid business practices, legislative efforts, networking with other industry professionals, and educational opportunities. Additionally, our mission is to provide its members with the tools and resources they need to help them be successful in a constantly evolving and increasingly competitive international marketplace. IYBA also co-owns the Miami Yacht Show, held each February at the peak of the all-important winter boat show season, concurrently with the Miami International Boat Show. As the association's signature event, the Miami Yacht Show on Collins Avenue features extraordinary, multi-million dollar displays of new and brokerage power and sailing yachts, including some of the world's most innovative and uniquely designed Superyachts offered by top international builders and brokerage firms.
