The Maritime Security Council (MSC) is a not-for-profit industry organization that serves as an advocate for the security interests of the global maritime community. The MSC is experienced in the development and delivery of security services, including security assessments, security plans and training programs that comply with international and national regulatory requirements and industry'best practices'. The MSC is consistently active in government and regulatory affairs. We represented the shipping industry in the development of the Super Carrier Initiative Programs and The MSC is also included by name in the U.S. Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002 [Section 109(a)(2)]. Additionally, the MSC is the proud recipient of the U.S. Vice President's National Performance Award, and has served as maritime security consultant to The White House.
