With over 26 years of industry experience, Mr. McGill has the pleasure of managing the world’s largest recreational and boat yacht retailer and services provider.  He has served as Chief Executive Officer and President of MarineMax since October 2018. Being raised in the marine industry, boating and water skiing have been lifelong passions for Brett and his family.  He began his professional career with Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS), a small firm that developed software and financial accounting systems for the recreational vehicle and marine industries.  Since joining MarineMax in 1996, Brett has held various positions including Director of Information Services, Vice President of Information Technology and Service, Regional President, Vice President of West Operations, and Executive Vice President of Operations.

MarineMax has over 100 locations worldwide, including 78 retail dealership locations, some of which include marinas.  Collectively with IGY Marinas, a MarineMax company, we own or operate 57 marinas worldwide.  Through Fraser Yachts and Northrop & Johnson, MarineMax is the largest superyacht services provider, operating locations across the globe.  Cruiser’s Yachts, a MarineMax company, manufactures boats and yachts through our select retail dealership locations and independent dealers. Intrepid Powerboats, also a MarineMax company, manufactures powerboats and sells through a direct-to-consumer model.  MarineMax provides finance and insurance services through wholly owned subsidiaries and operates MarineMax Vacations in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
