We’re excited to share some news with you here at Cape Charles Yacht Center. For the past couple years we’ve been developing a relationship with some experienced shipyard operators from New England. They’ve provided guidance, support and ideas for CCYC. Recently they decided to acquire the CCYC operations and begin an expansion to grow the yard into a mid-Atlantic service and refit facility for boats of all sizes, from small sportfishes up to superyachts.
We’d like to introduce you to JB Turner, president and co-owner of Front Street Shipyard in Belfast, Maine, and Nicole Jacques, owner of Rhumbline Communications, also from Belfast. Together JB and Nicole are now operating Cape Charles Yacht Center — often from afar — with the support of the CCYC’s existing, capable team: George Baker, Renee Rice, Rob Maguire, and the talented staff of technicians.
Cape Charles Yacht Center will undergo some initial changes immediately, including the addition of a new service building and hydraulic trailer to better service our customers’ vessels. We’ll keep you updated on plans for CCYC’s growth as they develop.
