TOMA-TOP Wins Best Catch Award for Marine Innovation

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — August 13, 2026 — **TOMA-TOP**, the innovative retractable hardtop windshield system for flybridge yachts, has been named the Best Catch Award winner at the Marine Industries Association of South Florida's (MIASF) Big Fish Showcase.

TOMA-TOP was one of nine marine industry companies selected to participate in the event's Featured Pitch competition. Each participant was given just two minutes to present an existing innovation; explain the problem it addresses and demonstrate its impact on customers and the broader marine industry.

Rob Widak, U.S. Sales Representative for TOMA-TOP, presented the company's retractable hardtop windshield system and demonstrated how it addresses a longstanding challenge for flybridge yacht owners: balancing protection from wind, spray and changing weather with the freedom and enjoyment of an open-air flybridge.

Unlike traditional fixed windshields, Bimini tops and soft enclosure systems, TOMA-TOP allows boaters to transition between a protected helm and an open-air flybridge as conditions change.
