Recap: USSA at Newport Charter Yacht Show 2026

USSA Brings Crew Spirit, Member Connection and Industry Energy to Newport

The U.S. Superyacht Association was proud to be part of the 2026 Newport Charter Yacht Show, held June 22–25 at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard. Throughout the week, Newport once again served as a vibrant gathering place for captains, crew, charter professionals and USSA members from across the superyacht community.

From dockside conversations and member connections to spirited crew competitions, the show offered a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the people who keep the industry moving forward.

Celebrating Crew at the Newport Crew & Deck Challenge

A highlight of USSA's presence this year was USSA Crew Night, featuring the Newport Crew & Deck Challenge. The evening brought energy, teamwork and plenty of friendly competition to the docks, giving captains and crew a chance to show off their skills while enjoying a well-earned moment of recognition during a busy charter show week.

USSA was proud to support this crew-focused programming and help create a space where the charter community could come together, cheer each other on and celebrate the professionalism, talent and personality that make this industry so special.

Connection on the Docks

In addition to the official crew activities, USSA members and industry partners used the week to reconnect, build new relationships and continue conversations around the future of the U.S. superyacht industry.

Newport remains an important gathering point for the Northeast region, and the strong engagement throughout the show reflected the continued momentum of USSA's member community in this key market.
