Refit America

American shipyards have earned a reputation for meticulous refit work and complex structural repairs. Yacht owners and captains from around the world seek U.S. facilities for the expertise of their skilled craftspeople.

The USSA's Refit America initiative highlights the best service and repair yards across the country, regionally organized so you can find the right facility wherever your yacht is headed. The U.S. coastline stretches more than 13,000 miles, encompassing some of the world's most storied cruising grounds, and at virtually every point along it you'll find yards capable of handling superyachts with professionalism and precision.

The USSA also works closely with the U.S. Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, and the State Department to simplify vessel entry, streamline visa processes for crew, and reduce pilotage burdens. The goal is to make a U.S. port call as straightforward as it is worthwhile.

See what our members can do for you — from refit and repair to provisioning and logistics, wherever your yacht calls in the U.S.
