The 5th Annual USSA Golf Classic presented by DATUM RMS and Delta “T” Systems was a swinging success. All types of captains were featured this year on the course as participants came dressed as their favorite “captains”. Members represented not just our industry favorite “the Yacht Captain,”, but also on hand to spend the day on the links was Captain Morgan, Captain America and even Captain Lee was spotted.
The weather was threatening to storm all day, but luckily it held out for most of the tournament. A few even waited out the lightening warnings to continue on and complete their last few holes.
The holes were decked out by our amazing sponsors with fun games and contests. A special thanks to all of our hole sponsors who added the extra fun to the day. This year we also debuted the Crown Wine & Spirits Watering Hole on the course. This allowed USSA Members who are not golfers to come out and be a part of the fun. They could sit in this lounge area and enjoy a cold beverage courtesy of Crown Wine & Spirits and chat with the golfers as they went by this on course lounge.
The day kicked off with a networking lunch courtesy of Awlgrip and following golf participants were able to take part in the 19th Hole Cocktail Party sponsored by Pantropic Power. The Awards Dinner sponsored by Maritime Professional Training provided great food and lots of raffle prizes and awards for the winning teams.
