Despite a late-breaking COVID shut-down in Amsterdam, the U.S. Superyacht Association (USSA) was well represented at METSTRADE during November 16-18, 2021. METSTRADE is the world’s leading show for professionals in the leisure marine equipment industry.

The USSA partnered with Safe Harbor Marina and K4 Mobility at the SuperYacht Pavilion at RAI Amsterdam this year. Other member exhibitors included AERÉ Marine Group, Blue Water Desalination, Triton Technical, Headhunter, Nautical Structures, and Parker Water Purification.

Feedback was positive despite the COVID changes and restrictions enacted just days before the event. USSA Board of Directors’ Mike Yorston, of AERÉ Marine Group, said attendance was great and he was happy to see numerous American companies in the Netherlands.

Headhunter had an outstanding experience, according to Mark Melinger, and Rick Thomas of Nautical Structures was happy to be at the show to engage with customers  and maintain “business as usual.”

It was K4 Mobility’s first time exhibiting at METS, according to frequent attendee, Mark Tyson and the results were positive. Triton Technical’s Hernando Giraldo said the attendee traffic and the meetings were excellent, and he is already looking forward to next year.

The METSTRADE Show global business platform focuses on innovation, market developments, on-site networking and knowledge, so plan to join USSA next year from Nov. 15-17, 2022.
